Quality Inspection and Testing Center of the 5th Electronics Research Institute of the Ministry of Information Industry of China —— also China CEPREI Laboratory, specialized in performing certification ,evaluation and technology research for electronic and electrical appliance products. With the approval of the former Ministry of Electronics Industry of China ,QIC serves as a non-profit third party inspection organization with independent administration and economy from the Product Manufacturer and products users .

Now the business activities of QIC are directed by the related organizations such as the Ministry of Information Industry. General Administration of Quality Supervision ， Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China. Certification and Accreditation Administration of People's Republic Of China .QIC implements production License inspection and validation, export production quality License inspection of the electronic information product, and the quality inspection of the product in the field of production and circulation.

Serving as the appointed China compulsory certification(ccc) inspection organization of CNCA and the signed laboratory of China Quality Certification Center and China Certification Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility , QIC implements the testing for CCC Certification of the related electric and electronic products .Meanwhile, serving as the signed laboratory of CQC and CSC, QIC also implements the voluntary certification and testing of related products, including certification for CQCCE, for RoHS, and energy-saving.

Serving as a state level product inspection organization, QIC is the first laboratory obtaining the international certification, and also one of the first CB laboratories obtaining the certification of CEMC. Close technology communication and business cooperation with many famous certification and inspection organizations (such as UL,TUV,CSA,KTLand SIQ)have been established and maintained.

QIC not only implements the national legal certification and inspection of the product ,but also implements the international certification and inspection of CB,UL,FCC,FDA,CE,E-Mark,GS and EK and related technical consulting, special trainings and other technical services.

The products tests in QIC include equipment or systems such as radio and television broadcasting products ,audio system, video broadcasting equipment , information technology equipment, various appliance household, lamp fixture, electronic measure instruments, electrical machine, electronic toy and industrial scientific and medical equipments and key components and materials such as various batteries, electromechanical element , electrical accessory ， power cords and cables, sense organ , Resistor-Capacitor Unit , printed circuit board ， IC cards .
